World Premiere of Scott Macmilllan’s 1st Symphony ‘SummuS’ with Nova Sinfonia

On January 28th 2013, Canadian Composer, Scott Macmillan, will premiere his 1st Symphony ‘SummuS’ with Nova Sinfonia in a program of his own works conducted by Macmillan at the Faith Tabernacle Church in Halifax at 7:30pm

2013 marks 10 years since the completion of SummuS, which Macmillan based on palindromes for the palindrome year 2002. Composed with the assistance of a Grant to Individuals from Canada Council SummuS will realize its World Premiere along with a full program of Macmillan’s compositions and arrangements conducted by Macmillan with Halifax’s Nova Sinfonia.
