Scott Macmillan honoured with Nova Scotia’s Portia White Prize

On November 20, 2014 I was awarded Nova Scotia’s most prestigious Arts Prize, The Portia White Prize at the Creative Nova Scotia Awards,celebrating Nova Scotia’s Artistic community. This award recognizes the recipient’s commitment to artistic growth, community engagement and life time achievement.

‘It was a wonderful event last Thursday that I got to enjoy with my wife, Jennyfer and my sons, Duncan and Ian along with close friends and family and peers.  I am a really fortunate man to have such support.  I am also so lucky to have made my life in music, there is always something to be learned, and to be inspired from.’
