Brian Doyle & Scott Macmillan performing around Inverness this summer.

Back on the Island after their performances at the Mariposa Folk Festival in early July, the exciting Guitar Duo of Brian Doyle and Scott Macmillan have a series of concerts around Inverness this summer.

Friday July 20th, 8pm -10pm, they will perform the 1st of 3 special concerts at ‘The Barn’ at the Normaway Inn in NE Margaree. The other dates at ‘The Barn’ are August 3rd and August 31st.

On Sunday July 22nd & Sunday July 29rd, Coal Miner’s Café in Inverness, 10:00 pm 10pm- 1am are two very special performances NOT to be missed. Brian and Scott will be joined by two of Nova Scotia’s finest musicians,bassist, Jamie Gatti and drummer, Tom Roach. Jamie Gatti is best known for his work with the Barra MacNeils and Tom Roach will be remembered for his years as drummer with Natalie MacMaster.  Always innovative and captivating these two guitar masters Brian and Scott’s guitar interplay will be augmented with the best drummer and bassist found anywhere in a night of blues, jazz  and celtic.
